Last updated: February 26, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Anti-Productivity Tracker ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Anti-Productivity Tracker is a time-tracking web application that allows users to log and analyze their daily activities. The Service is provided "as is" for personal use, with a humorous and honest approach to productivity tracking.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your password
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You may sign in using email/password or through third-party OAuth providers (Google, Discord). When using OAuth, you also agree to the respective provider's terms of service.

4. User Content and Data

You retain all rights to the activity data you log in the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content. However, by using the Service, you grant us permission to:

  • Store your data locally in your browser (via localStorage)
  • Display your aggregate statistics if you enable a public profile
  • Process your data to provide Service features (charts, analytics, etc.)

5. Public Profiles

By default, your profile is private. If you choose to make your profile public, your username and aggregate statistics (total time tracked, category breakdowns) will be visible to others at your public profile URL (/@username). Individual activity descriptions remain private.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
  • Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise security
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Impersonate another person or entity

7. Intellectual Property

The Service's design, code, graphics, and other content (excluding user-generated content) are owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without permission.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be:

  • Error-free or uninterrupted
  • Free from viruses or harmful components
  • Accurate, reliable, or suitable for any particular purpose

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including data loss.

Important: This Service stores data in your browser's localStorage. You are responsible for backing up any important data. Clearing your browser data will delete your activity logs.

9. Data Backup and Export

While we strive to provide a reliable service, you acknowledge that data stored in browser localStorage may be lost if you clear your browser data, use private/incognito mode, or experience technical issues. We are not responsible for data loss. Please back up any important data regularly.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third-party authentication providers (Google, Discord). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice. You may also delete your account at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage data.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.

14. Contact

If you have questions about these Terms of Service, please contact us through our GitHub repository or support channels.

Remember: This service is designed with humor and honesty. We track your time, not your soul. Use it wisely, or don't. We're not here to judge. 🗑️
